Hii !!!

Solution :-

m1 = 50kg m2 = 60kgm3 = 40 kg

Let A be the origin of system initially mr. Verma and mrs mathure at extrem position of boat

•°• centre of mass at will be distance = 60 × 0 + 40 * 2 + 50* 4 / 50 + 60 + 40 = 280/150 = 28/15 = 1.87 cm

from ' A 'When they come to the midpoint of of the boat CM lies at 2m from 'A'

The shift in cm = 2 - 1.87 = 0.13 toward right

But as there is no longitudinal direction there cm would not shift so boat move 0.13m or \bold{13cm}answer
