In the given figure AC=XD ,C is the midpoint of AB and D is midpoint
of XY, using an Euclid's axiom show that AB=XY​

Answer:

AC= XD (given)

AB= AC + CB= 2AC.....(1)

XY= XD+DY....(2)

AC=XD

mutliplying both side by 2

2AC=2XD

AB=XY ( FROM EQ 1 AND 2 )

hence proved
