Once when my mother fell ill, my grandmother accompanied her to the hospital. I was left at home in the care of Alice, the cook. At night, after I was put to bed by the cook, I had a nightmare l. I wake up shivering with fear. I called for my grandmother, but for my surprise my father came to me. He came up to my bed with a candle in his hand. He blew of the candle, came near to me, and held my hand and pick me up. He took me to his bed, pulled the covers around me and made me sleep next to him. After a while, I was unable to sleep, so I crawled up to my father, snuggled under his arm and held on to his shirt tightly. I felt a little comfortable. He asked me to rub my feet against his legs for warmth and fell asleep. At this point I realised how tired he was after a hard day's work. I understood why mt father could not devote much time like Mr Macdonald it dawned on me that he was a human and needed sympathy. With this realisation I signed and told my father l, "what a big heart you have got, Father dear" .

Apart from Kezia and her father, there was Kezia’s mother,

Kezia’s father was a strict person, who always used to give commands to everybody else in the house. He never seemed to smile.



After the incident of the nightmare, Kezia realised that her father was soft and caring,and also loving father.



After Conversation of her father kezia realized that his father Right ...



She understood that he worked hard and got very tired.



As he comforted her when she had the nightmare and her mom and granny were away in hospital, she knew that he had a big, kind heart.
