given that y=4
then number=10(4x)+x=40x+x=41x
after reversing the number: it become 10x+y
where y=4x
then number become: 10 x+ 4x=14x

according to question:
41x-14x=54
27x=54
x=54/27=2

the number=10y+x=10(4x)+x=41x
=41(2) ;where x=2
41×2=82


hence the original number is 82
