As per the question, Sita is pushing a box in East direction. Let's assume the force exerted on the box to be x Newton.

Her friend Mira helps her pushing the same box in the east direction.

Let's assume this force to be y Newton.

Therefore, total combined force exerted on the box

= (x+y) Newton

(Which is obviously more than the force exerted by Sita)

In this case, the magnitude of force exerted on the box increased due to addition of Mira's push.

As a result, they noted that after the help of Mira the box moved more easily.

Thus, in short we can say the box moved easily due to increase in magnitude of force exerted.
