Answer:

To Arrange the sweets in such a way that each stack has the same number and they take up least area of the tray , We have to find the H.C.F of 420 and 130.

420 = 130 x 3 + 30

130 = 30 x 4 + 10

30 = 10 x 3 + 0

Hence , H.C.F. = 10

Therefore ,the sweet seller can make 10 stacks each for both the types of sweet.

No: of kaju barfis in 1 stack = 420 / 10 = 42 barfis

NO: of badam barfis in 1 stack = 130 / 10 = 13 barfis
