Then

Cosecθ = AC / AB

Cotθ = BC / AB

We know that by Pythagorean Theorem

AB² + BC² = AC²

SO

Cosec² θ - Cot² θ

= (AC/AB) ² - (BC/AB)²

= (AC² - BC²) / ( AB)²

= AB² / AB²

= 1
