Fourth Anglo Mysore (1798_99) war was led as the British East India company and Nawab's of Hyderabad began to see the growing strength of tipu sultan . this led to war. the result of war led to the death of tipu sultan while he was defending his capital Seringapatam.

The Fourth Anglo–Mysore War was a conflict in South India between the Kingdom of Mysore against the British East India Company and the Hyderabad Deccan in 1798–99. This was the final conflict of the four Anglo–Mysore Wars.
