4x−3y=8...(1)

6x−y=29/3...(2)

Let us use elimination method to solve the given system of equation.

Multiply (2) by 3. And subtract both the equations.

−14x=−21

4x−3y=818x−3y=29−+−

Or x=3/2

From (1);

4(3/2)−3y=8

Or y=−2/3

Answer x=3/2 and y=−2/3
