→ (x + a)(b + a) = (x - a)(b - a)

→ x(b + a) + a(b + a) = x(b - a) - a(b - a)

→ xb + xa + ab + a² = xb - ax - ab + a²

→ xb - xb + xa + ax + ab + ab = a² - a²

→ 2ax + 2ab = 0

→ 2(ax + ab) = 0

→ ax + ab = 0

→ ax = - ab

→ x = -ab/a = - b
