 =  \sqrt{ \dfrac{144}{49} }

Square root both numerator and denominator

 \dfrac{ \sqrt{144} }{ \sqrt{49} }

Square root of 144 is 12 ; Square root of 49 is 7

 \dfrac{12}{7}

Therefore,

 \rm{\sqrt{\dfrac{1.44}{0.49}} = \dfrac{12}{7}.}

Decimal Form

Decimal form of \rm\dfrac{12}{7} is approximately 1.71.
