 \frac{1}{2}  -  \frac{1}{4}  +  \frac{5}{8}

 \frac{4 - 2 + 5}{8}

 \frac{4 - 7}{8}

  \frac{ - 2}{8}  =  - \frac{1}{4}

(1/2) - (1/4) + (5/8)

⇒ (1/2) + (5/8) -(1/4)

⇒ LCM of 2, 8, 4 = 8

⇒ 4+5-2/8

⇒ 9-2/8

⇒ 7/8

⇒ 0.875
