\frac{3}{2} + \frac{3}{4}

LCM of 2 and 4 is 4.

=\frac{3}{2}*\frac{2}{2} + \frac{3}{4} * \frac{1}{1}

= \frac{6}{4} + \frac{3}{4}

= \frac{9}{4}
