from , 1 kg = 1000 grams

⇒ 5kg = 5000 grms

so ,

apples used on monday ,

(4/5) 5000 = 4*1000 = 4000 grms used on Monday

  • remaining = 5000 - 4000 = 1000 grms

apples used on next day (Tuesday) ,

so , (1/3) * 1000 ≈ 333. grms

Weight of apples left now ,

1000 - 333.3 ≈ 666.66 ≈ 666.67 grms (or), ⅔ kg
