  \dfrac{4}{6}  \div 2 =  \dfrac{4}{6} \times \dfrac{1}{2} =  \dfrac{4 \times 1}{6 \times 2} =  \dfrac{4}{12} =  \dfrac{4 \div 4}{12 \div 4} =  \dfrac{1}{3}
