 \frac{4}{x}  +  \frac{1}{3x}  = 9 \\ 4( \frac{1}{x}) +  \frac{1}{3} ( \frac{1}{x} ) = 9 \\  \frac{1}{x}  +  \frac{1}{x}  =  \frac{9 \times 3}{4}  \\  \frac{1 + 1}{x}  = \frac{27}{4}  \\  \frac{2}{x}  =  \frac{27}{4}  \\ 27x = 8 \\ x =  \frac{8}{27}
