\small\bold\green{Step \ 1}

 \frac{4x - 1}{2x} =  \: 5

\small\bold\red{Step \ 2}

 \frac{2x - 1}{1x} = 5

\small\bold\blue{Step \ 3}

 \frac{2x}{x} = 5 - 1

\small\bold{Step \ 4}

2x = 4

\small\bold\purple{Step \ 5}

x =  \frac{4}{2}

\small\bold\pink{Step \ 6}

x = 2

\small\mathfrak\red{Explanation}

First reduce 4 and 2 to lowest term.

Then it will give 2 / 1

now 1x can also be written as x .

now both x will get cancelled.

Then 2x is left

first 1 will move to R.H.S. and will be subtracted from 5

after subtraction it would give 4.

now 2 will move to R.H.S. and 4 and 2 will be divided.

on division it will give 2.

Hope it helped u buddy...

Thank you....
