5(4x + 2) = 4(x + 2) \\ 20x + 10 = 4 x  + 8 \\ 20x - 4x = 8 - 10 \\ 16x =  - 2 \\ x =  \frac{ - 2}{16}  \\ x =  \frac{ - 1}{8}
