 sin^{4}  x can be written as  (sinx)^{4}  hence when we differentiate wrt x we can consider the whole function as  x^{4}

Thus d/dx( (sinx)^{4}  =4 (sinx)^{3}  ×d/dx(sinx)

=4 (sinx)^{3}  ×cosx
