 \sf \dfrac{x + 1}{3}  =  \dfrac{2x + 3}{7}

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

First we have to cross multiply this fraction.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

 \implies \sf 7(x + 1) = 3(2x + 3)

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

  \sf  \implies7x + 7=  6x + 9

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

  \sf  \implies7x  - 6x =   9 - 7

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

Hence the value of x is 2 .
