LCM of 2 and 3 = 6

by LCM method

 ⟶\:\frac{x}{2} - \frac{x}{3} = 4 \\

 ⟶\:\frac{x\:×3\:-\:x×2}{6} = 4 \\

 ⟶\:\frac{3x\:-\:2x}{6} = 4 \\

 ⟶\:\frac{x}{6} = 4 \\

⟶\:x\:=\:4\:×\:6

  ➠ \:x\:=\:24
