ABOUT MUHARRAM

Muharram is not a festival but it is a weed day. Muharram is celebrated in the memory of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein and his companions, the younger Nawas (Prophet) of Prophet Mohammed Saheb of Islam. According to Islamic Calendars, Muharram is a month, in which Shia Muslims mourn in the memory of Imam Hussein for ten days. This month is included in the four sacred months of Islam. The Messenger of Allah, Hazrat Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said this month as the month of Allah. In order to know about Muharram, we will have to look back over the pages of history, when there was a rule of Khalafat, meaning the Caliphs in Islam.

WHY WE CELEBRATE IT ?

After Muhammad's death, the governor of Karbala, far away from Mecca, declared himself Khalifa. Krabla, now known as Syria. He wanted to make Islam an emperor. For this, he started spreading panic in Awwam. He started torturing them to enslave people. Majeed wanted to capture the entire Arab world. But in front of him, Hazrat Muhammad The heir and some of his companions did not touch his knees in front of Yajid and fought fiercely. Imam Hussein was going from Madina to Iraq for the sake of his wife's children, while on the way, Yazid attacked them. Imam Hussein and His companions joined hands with the army of Yazid. They were about 72 people and Yazid had more than 8000 soldiers but still they had sacked the army of Yazid. However, they could not win this war and all were martyred. Somehow Hussein escaped in this fight. This battle lasted from Moharram 2 to 6. On the last day, Hussein buried his companions in the tomb. On the tenth day of Muharram, when Hussein When he was praying, then Yazid also deceived him by deceit. From that day, Muharram is celebrated as the festival of martyrdom of Imam Hussein and his companions.
