Answer :- The first general elections, which were conducted for 489 seats in 401 constituencies, represented 25 Indian states. At that time, there were 314 constituencies with one seat, 86 with two seats and one with three seats..


2))Who was the First Election Commissioner Of India..???

Answer :- Sukumar Sen (civil servant) Sukumar Sen (1898–1961) was an Indian civil servant who was the first Chief Election Commissioner of India, serving from 21 March 1950 to 19 December 1958.

3)) When was first election held in India..???

Answer :- General elections to the first Lok Sabha since independence were held in India between 25 October 1951 and 21 February 1952.
