In my country, a lot of people say that it is easy to study psychology. Well, guess what - it isn't!

You have to have strong analytical and critical thinking skills (unfortunately I do not have that). You also need to have patience in reading long articles and very wordy text books.

Yes, you get to study all those intriguing pathological disorders but you have to painstakingly study a lot of things before getting to that topic.

Another drawback (since for me it is) when studying psychology is that you become more aware of your surroundings and yourself. You may not be very observant but you will essentially try to make a sense of things by applying those theories and concepts that you have learned in school. There are times that they are helpful, other times they are not.

I did not really like the thought of studying psychology - still do not like it event to this date. However, studying psychology made me aware of who I was and who I am (I still do not have any idea who I will be or who I want to be).

Some people may like to play games, while someothers may like to study and someothers may like drawing...and it goes on...

So, some may be interested in Psychology and some may not be interested in psychology...and some others may know what is psychology and some others may not know what is psychology....and it goes on...

As a human, we often think that others are like us..What we say reflect how we are..From your question i guess...it's not been too long since you came up with this section and you find it interesting..But, all the people you saw lack interest in psychology...Afterall, that's why you asked this question..
