To give u your answer

let's go to roots of your question

there may be two cases,

case 1)

we already know that if one part of earth has day then another part has night.

so let's assume India on 1st part and USA on second part

so may be when there day in India moon doesn't appear because it may be on 2 nd part

and case 2),

sun light may fade moonlight

Answer:

When reflections of light from the moon brighter than the sky .

Explanation:

We usually dont see moon in day time just because moon doesn't have its own light , it only reflects light from the sun and that reflection isn't brighter than sky . But in some case moon is in such a position that it gets sufficient light from sun that it could reflect more brighter light than sky .

Note :- Sky also dont have its own light , but due to atmospheric dispersion of light from sun it appears that sky also have light .
