What are the consequences of wearing lenses?
Which one is better...
a) spectacles OR b) Contact lenses?

\huge \bold \red{Answer:}

Each has its pros and cons in terms of vision, ease of use and eye health.

Contact lenses have many advantages over glasses. Contacts sit directly on your eye, so vision, particularly peripheral vision, is unobstructed. We can participate in sports and outdoor activities without fear of eyeglasses getting in the way, falling off or breaking. We can even change the color of your eyes with color contact lenses.

On the other side, Eyeglasses can do something contact lenses cannot — they can adjust the amount of light entering your eye for optimum comfort and vision.

Contact lenses are very safe. But still wearing contact lenses can damage your eyes if you wear them too long, fail to clean them properly or do not replace them as directed by your eye doctor.

Symptoms include the infection including eye pain, redness and blurred vision that can last for weeks or months, and can cause vision loss or blindness if left untreated.

Leaving contact lenses in the eyes for too long increases the risk of eye infections. The contact lens prevents the cornea from getting enough oxygen.
