I would say I have inherited the following qualities from my father :

1. Being there for family/friends during the worst time: I have seen my father being there during the worst time and helping silently to hold things together.

2. Always gift something good: He has always taught of buying good quality items as gifts to others saying that its a representation of the respect and affection towards the receiver. Technically I didn't inherit it but I always look for the quality when I buy gifts.

I've inherited/learnt a lot from my father. I simply adore him and am so glad that I'm his daughter. I love you daddy, you're my hero!

From my Mother -

Frankness - For a woman who's been bought up in a family of 8 boys and being a single daughter in a strict Muslim family, my mother is a very frank and outspoken woman. She does not fear speaking out her mind and oh god, she does it in a very loud, dominating voice! Nothing stops her from speaking the truth, no matter how bitter it is, and that is something which has been passed down to me.
