Number of notes of each denomination

\huge{\bf{\purple{\underline{\underline{\colorbox{lavender}{\color{purple}{SօlմԵíօղ}}}}}}}

Given :

  • Denominations Lakshmi has = ₹100, ₹50 and ₹10
  • Ratio of the denominations respectively = 2:3:5
  • Total amount = ₹4,00,000

As the ratio of ₹100, ₹50 and ₹10 is 2:3:5 respectively,

Then let the number of ₹100, ₹50 and ₹10 notes be 2x , 3x and 5x respectively.

Now, according to the question :

➼ 2x × 100 + 3x × 50 + 5x × 10 = 400000

➼ 200x + 150x + 50x = 400000

➼ 400x = 400000

➼ x = 4,00,000÷400 = 1000

Since x = ₹1000

Therefore number of notes for each denomination :

For ₹100 = 2x = 2 × 1000 = ₹2000

For ₹50 = 3x = 3 × 1000 = ₹3000

For ₹10 = 5x = 5 × 1000 = ₹ 5000
