Given:-
- Initial velocity ,u = 0m/s
- Final velocity ,v = 60m/s
- Time taken ,t = 11 s
To Find:-
- Distance Covered by the Enzo ,s
Solution:-
Firstly we calculate the acceleration of the Ferrari Enzo . Using 1st Equation of Motion
• v = u +at
Where ,
v is the final velocity
u is the initial velocity
a is the acceleration
t is the time taken
Substitute the value we get
➨ 60 = 0 + a×11
➨ a = 60/11
➨ a = 5.45m/s²
Acceleration of the Enzo is 5.45 m/s².
Now, using 3rd Equation of motion
• v² = u² +2as
Substitute the value we get
➨ 60² = 0² + 2×5.45 ×s
➨ 3600 = 0 + 10.9 ×s
➨ 3600 = 10.9 ×s
➨ s = 3600/10.9
➨ s = 330 .27 m
Therefore, the distance covered by the Ferrari Enzo is 330 . 27 Metres.
♣GIVEN :–
- Initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s
- Final velocity (v) = 60 m/s
- Time taken (t) = 11 sec
♣TO FIND :–
- Distance travelled by the Enzo (s) = ?
♣SOLUTION :–
➊ First let us find the acceleration of the Enzo using first equation of motion :—
- v = u + at
→ 60 = 0 + (a × 11)
→ 60 = 0 + 11a
→ 60 - 0 = 11a
→ 60 = 11a
→ 11a = 60
→ a = 60/11
➠ a = 5.45 m/s²

➋ Now we can find the distance covered by the Enzo using the third equation of motion :—
- v² = u² + 2as
→ 60² = 0² + (2 × 5.45 × s)
→ 3600 = 0 + 10.9s
→ 10.9s = 3600
→ s = 3600/10.9
➠ s = 330.27 m
