Answer:

Area of a sector of the circle =154 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

A sector of a circle with radius 14 cm if angle of the sector is 90°

To find:-

Find the area of sector of a circle with radius 14 cm if angle of the sector is 90°

Solution:-

Radius of the circle (r)=14cm

Angle of the sector(x)=90°

Using formula:-

The angle of a sector and the radius of the circle is r units then the area of the sector is denoted by A and it is defined by

(x/360)×πr² sq.units

=>A=(90°/360°)×(22/7)(14)²cm²

=>A=(1/4)(22/7)(196)cm²

=>A=22×49/7cm²

=>A=22×7cm²

=>A=154 cm²

Answer:-

Area of a sector of the circle =154 cm²
