It is quite clear that Rohan does the number of cuts made to cut a roll into 10 pieces = 9.

So, required number of rolls = (45 x 24)/9 = 120 rolls

Given :-

Cloth bought for Rohan's business suit = 3 m

Cloth required for shirt = 1 m 45 cm

Cloth required for trouser = 1 m 25 cm

To Find :-

The length of the leftover cloth.

Analysis :-

Firstly, add up the length of cloth used (Change the units too).

Subtract the sum we got from the total length of cloth bought.

Finally, the number we get by subtracting is our length of the leftover cloth.

Solution :-

Given that,

Shirt = 1 m 45 cm = 145 cm

Trouser = 1 m 25 cm = 125 cm

According to the question,

Given that,

Total length of cloth = 3 m = 300 cm

Cloth left = Total length of cloth - Length of cloth spent

Substituting their values,

⇒ 300 - (145 + 125)

⇒ 300 - 270

⇒ 30 cm = 0.30 m

Therefore, the length  of the leftover cloth is 0.30 m.
