1st Line : 4x + 7y - 3 = 0

2nd line : 2x - 3y + 1 = 0

Multiplying the second line with 2 we get :

2nd line : 4x - 6y + 2 = 0

Subtracting 2nd line from the 1st line

⇒ 4x + 7y - 3 - 4x + 6y - 2 = 0

⇒ 13y = 5

⇒ y = 5/13 and 2x - 3(5/13) + 1 = 0

⇒ x = 1/13

⇒ The Point of Intersection is (1/13 , 5/13)

Let the Equation of the Line passing through this point and making equal intercepts be : x/a + y/a = 1

As it passes through the point : (1/13 , 5/13)

⇒ 1/13a + 5/13a = 1

⇒13a = 6

⇒ a = 6/13

⇒ The Equation of the line making equal intercepts is 13x + 13y = 6
