He endears himself to all by his temperament, qualities of head and heart and knowledge. He respects his teachers and is helpful and friendly to his class-fellows. Such good and bright students are the gems of an institution. They are the pillars of a nation. Such students become ideal citizens, politicians, statesmen and leaders.

India is a famous country all over the world. Geographically, our country is located to the south of Asia continent. India is a high population country and well protected from all directions naturally. It is a famous country for its great cultural and traditional values all across the world. It contains a mountain called Himalaya which is biggest in the world. It is surrounded by the three big oceans from three directions such as in south with Indian Ocean, in east with Bay of Bengal and in west with Arabic sea. India is a democratic country ranks second for its population. The national language of India is Hindi however almost fourteen nationally recognized languages are spoken here.

The Taj Mahal is the most magnificent building in India. It is called ‘one of the seven wonders of the world.” It was built by the Moghul Emperor Shah Jahan in the sweet memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Twenty thousand workmen including some European masons worked day and night for twenty years to build it. It cost the Emperor several crores of rupees.
I had a keen desire to visit this famous building of the world. At last the day came when my long-cherished desire turned into reality. Last year I had an occasion to attend the marriage of a friend of mine. This gave me a chance to see this master-piece of artistic design. As I came close to it, I was struck by its unique structure. It is a marvel in marble. We went to the underground room where Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal lie buried. Our minds went back to the times of Shah Jahan when he built this building at a high cost.
The Taj is surrounded by a cypress garden on three sides. It is situated on the bank of the river Jamuna which lends charm to its beauty. The surroundings and the garden and lustre to its architecture. The beauty of the Taj beggars description.

Environmental pollution occurs when pollutants contaminate the natural surroundings. Pollution disturbs the balance of our ecosystems, affect our normal lifestyles and gives rise to human illnesses and global warming. Pollution has reached its peak due to the development and modernization in our lives. With the development of science and technology, there has been a huge growth of human potentials. People have become prisoners of their own creations.
We waste the bounties of our nature without a thought that our actions cause serious problems. We must deepen our knowledge of nature`s laws and broaden our understanding of the laws of the human behavior in order to deal with pollution problems. So, it is very important to know different types of pollutions, their effects and causes on humanity and the environment we live in.

An ideal student is generally the one who is completely passionate towards studies. He or she is thirsty for knowledge and pays full attention while a topic is being explained by the teachers. An ideal student never takes any decisions alone, he or she shares ideas with others and even motivates others in the worst situations. Such students get up early in the morning, complete and submit their homework on time and these all qualities contribute to their title of "an ideal student". The word ideal means perfect and thereby, an ideal student is perfect in all respects.

♦ My Country India ♦

India is my country and I am proud of being an Indian. India is a vast country with a total population of almost 132.42 crores making it the second most populated country in the world. New Delhi is one of the greatest cities in the world and also the capital of the country. No country enjoys a human power like India. India has been given many names from the ancient times like Bharat, Hindustan and Aryavart. People here follow different religions and still stay together. This is what shows the India's unity in diversity. India is independent and no country can be great like India. Not letting the country die and making it the best place to live is what I believe.

♦ Visit to a historical place ♦

I had the chance of visiting my favorite historical place, that is Taj Mahal. India is a great country where a lot of historical monuments are situated. One of them is Taj Mahal and it is also one of the seven wonders of the world. It was built by Taj Mahal in the memory of his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. We visited the Taj Mahal as the school organized an educational tour to Agra. We started our journey and it took a lot of time to reach there by Delhi. After reaching there, the glory of Taj Mahal, the carved piece of marble of the Mughal period could be seen. It has been declared as the world heritage site by UNESCO. This is what makes India great. And at last I would just say that spotting the symbol of love was the best thing I've ever done.

♦ My motherland ♦

India is my motherland. All the citizens here are given certain rights that can never bound their freedom. National language of my motherland is Hindi. A lot of other languages are also spoken here in the country. Having peacock as national bird, tiger as national animal and national sport as hockey, it is the dearest place to me. We often worship India as "Bharatmata" as this is the land where we live, it nurtures us as our own mother. My motherland is superior to heaven and I would live in my motherland and serve it until I die.

♦ Pollution ♦

Pollution is the mixing of different pollutants in air which causes a lot of effects on the health of the people. Air pollution, noise pollution and water pollution are some of the types of pollution that are badly affecting the environment. Air pollution is increasing day by day due to a significant increase in automobiles. Water pollution is mainly caused by the household discharges and industrial wastes. Noise pollution is mainly caused by Transport vehicles. Pollution has been increasing sharply over the years. Our environment and us are both incomplete with the help of each other. So, we should take steps to reduce pollution as being a part of solution is better than being a part of pollution.
