let x = measure of small angle

then ,

x + 36 = measure of larger angle

x + x + 36 = 180

2x + 36 = 180

2x = 144

x = 72 °  _________ ( small angle )

x +36 ⇒ 72 +36 = 108 °

solution :-

let first angle be x

sum of complementary angle is 90 °

then , second angle be 90 ° - x

as difference is 14

therefore ,

x - ( 90 -x ) = 14

x - 90 +x = 14

2x = 14 +90

2x = 104

x = 104/2

x = 52 °
