\huge\bold{Answer:-}

Evaporation :-

The phenomena of changing liquid state into gaseous state at any temperature below its boiling point is called as evaporation. It is a surface phenomena.

Factors affecting Evaporation -

a ) Surface area.

b ) Temperature.

c ) Humidity.

d ) Wind speed.

Surface area :- Increase in surface area , increases evaporation. eg :- Tea in saucer gets evaporated faster than tea in a cup.

Temperature :- Increase in temperature, increase in rate of evaporation. eg :- Water will evaporate faster in sun than in shade.

Humidity :- Decrease in humidity, increases evaporation. eg :- on hot humid day, desert coolers are not effective as the air cannot hold anymore moisture to get the cooling effect.

Wind speed :- An increase in wind speed, increases the rate of evaporation. eg :- The particles of water move away with the wind, decreasing the amount of water vapour in surroundings.
