Petroleum And other natural resources are limited. It required the dead organism million for year to get converted into these fuels. On the other hand, the known reserves of these will last onely a few hundred years. Moreover , burning of these fuel is a major cause of air pollution . their use is also linked to global warming. It is therefore necessary that we use this fuels only when absolutely necessary. This will result in better environment similar disc of global warming and their availability for a longer period of time.

their are some points to save petroleum..

drive at a constant and moderate speed as far as possible.

switch off the engine at traffic lights or at a place where you have to wait.

ensure , correct tyre pressure .

ensure regular maintenance of the vehicle.

Coal petroleum which are also called fossil fuels or non- renewable energy resources. One way of fuel conservation is to avoid their wastage. Switching to alternative sources such as solar energy in the forms of solar heater, solar cookers, use of natural gas and wind energy are some ways to reduce their usage.
