The spinning of the Earth causes day to turn to night, while the full rotation/the revolution of the Earth causes summer to become winter. Combined, the spinning and the revolution of the Earth causes our daily weather and global climate by affecting wind direction, temperature, ocean currents and precipitation.

hope this helps you dear

Rotation is important as it causes day and night.
Revolution is important as it is the reason for the seasons.
These both are important as they are the reasons for our balanced ecosystem. If we won’t have seasons we won’t be able to have a healthy life because we have special season for growing crops, animals take very long time to adapt the environment. Hence we won’t have proper food, resulting bad health.
Same with daytime and nighttime. If we have only daytime or only nighttime we won’t be able to have proper food as directly or indirectly organisms are dependent on each other. Again resulting in bad health.
Therefore, rotation and revolution are important for sustaining life.

Hope it helped!
Have a great day!!
