Answer:

If we don't blink our eyes they will get dry. Any dirt in our eyes won't be cleaned. It is the way they function naturally and involuntarily, that is without our control. So we cannot keep staring at something without blinking.

Every time we blink, your eyelids spread a moisture across the surface of the eye to keep your globes from drying out. Blinking also keeps eyes safe from potentially damaging stimuli, such as bright lights and foreign bodies like dust. Not just the eyes, every part of our body function in a mysterious and unexplainable way. I studied Science and because of that I am sure that God exists.

★ Blinking is a reflex, so it's hard to know what would happen if you never blinked again, but it seems likely that your corneas would get painfully dry and you might even develop vision problems.

★ There are distinctive eye movements, called saccades, that only happen when you blink.
