Answer:

Given,

Mass of rod =M=M

Length of Rod =L=L

Distance of rods edge from center = L/2

Moment of inertia of rod at center (Ic)= 1*ML^2/2

For moment of inertia at edge apply parallel axis theorem(Ie)= Ic + M(L/2)^2

Moment of inertia at the edge is 1/3 ML^2

\huge{\boxed{\mathfrak\pink{\fcolorbox{red}{purple}{Itz\:Nisha}}}}

Given :-

Mass of rod = M

Length of rod = L

Distance of rod edge from center = L/2

Moment of inertia of rod at centre (Ic) = 1 × ML^2/2

From moment of inertia at edge apply parallel axis theorem (le) = (Ic) + M(1/2)²

Therefore , moment of inertia at edge is 1/3 ML²
