Cardiac muscle resists fatigue so well because it's got more mitochondria than skeletal muscle

Reason :

Cardiac muscles do not form lactic acid due to the presence of rich capillary network which provides enough oxygen to the muscles.

Therefore :

Anaerobic processes never occur in cardiac muscles,

hence lactic acid is never formed enabling heart muscles to perform their function

without fatigue.
