Given :-

  • Mohan bought a radio for ₹780.

  • He sold it for 15% profit.

To Find :-

  • Selling Price of Radio.

Solution :-

We Have,

  • Cost Price = C.P. = ₹780

  • Profit % = 15 %

We Know that Formula for Selling Price is :

\bf \red\bigstar \: \: \orange{ \underbrace{ \underline{  SP= \bigg(  \frac{100 + profit\%}{100} \bigg)   \pmb\times CP}}}

Putting Given Values In above Formula :

:\longmapsto \rm SP =  \bigg(  \frac{100 + 15}{100} \bigg) \times 780 \\

:\longmapsto \rm SP =  \frac{115}{100}  \times 780 \\

:\longmapsto \rm SP =  \cancel \frac{89700}{100}  \\

\purple{ \large :\longmapsto  \underline {\boxed{{\bf SP = ₹897} }}}

Therefore,

\large\underline{\pink{\underline{\frak{\pmb{\text Selling \:  Price \:  of \:  Radio  =   \bf₹897}}}}}

Solution :-

Formula of selling price :

{\red{\bigstar{\orange{\underbrace{\underline{\mathfrak{Selling  \: Price = \frac{100 + profit \: percnt}{100}  \times c.p  }}}}}}}

Solving Starts:

{\leadsto{\sf{ (\frac{100 + 15}{100}) \times 780 }}}

{\leadsto{\sf{ (\frac{115}{100}) \times 780 }}}

{\leadsto{\sf{{\cancel \frac{89700}{100} }}}}

{\large{\blue{:{\longmapsto{\pink{\underline{\boxed{\pmb{\mathfrak{Selling  \: Price =Rs.897 }}}}}}}}}}

So,

Selling Price of Radio is Rs.897.
