Candidates qualifying the written exam are called for SSB Interview. Final selection of candidates is done based on the combined performance in the written exam and SSB Interview.

CDS is conducted to select eligible candidates in Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. Selected candidates undergo training at Indian Military Academy, Air Force Academy, Officers’ Training Academy and Indian Naval Academy
