A friend who helped me
Introduction: Earth has approximately 7.8 billion people. Out of these, a normal average man meets only about 10,000 people in his lifetime. Out of them, only 100 are his known ones. And only a few are those who are his real well-thinkers. Many people come across our lives. But only a few of them actually care about us.
Main story: It was at the end of the 8th class semester, I was on the school ground, playing soulfully and happily with my friends. But then this happened, I struck my foot onto a stone and I couldn't stand up. I was taken to a Doctor and my foot was discovered to be cracked. I was bed-ridden and couldnot get of my bed for atleast a month.
My exams were near and a lot of notes and studies were left. I could not have attend classes with a plastered leg and I was totally out of spirit. Many of my friends called and asked about me, but no one was ready to bring the notes. Well it's normal for someone to reject that as the task is very tiring and time-exhausting. Then I had a call from a classmate, whom I had known since the age of 8. We were very good friends actually. He asked about me and soon I was gonna ask him about the notes but before that, he himself claimed to bring me notes of all classes. I was like totally surprised and full of joy. I thanked him and he was silver lining in the darkness.
For a whole month he brought me all notes and homeworks. He even tuitioned me and helped me in coping up with the new lessons. It was only because of him, that I passed the final exam.
It was then that I knew who actually cared about me. He was my true friend. When everyone else looked aside, he came and helped me.
Conclusion: Now it has been two years and he has been with me since then. I feel like he is the one who makes my every day more happier. I have found my actual friend indeed. Truly, the phrase "A friend in need is a friend indeed" has been the story of our friendship.
