As far as written languages go, Sumerian and Egyptian seem to have the earliest writing systems and are among the earliest recorded languages, dating back to around 3200BC. But the oldest written language that is still in actual use would probably be Chinese, which first appeared around 1500BC…

Well, such a remarkable interesting question. Personally, I speak 3 languages, Arabic as a native language, English as a foreign language and my professional one, and I speak Arabic as my passion language.

It depends on the situation that I am thinking of, but most of the time I think using English, even when I talk to myself.
