Primary Carbons / Hydrogen (1°) -

➡️ When carbon atom is free or attached with carbon atom from one side then that carbon is 1° or primary

&

The Hydrogen associated with it are 1° or primary Hydrogens .

_________________________

Secondary Carbon / Hydrogen (2°) -

➡️ When Carbon atom is linked with carbon atoms from 2 sides it's called Secondary Carbon (2°C)

&

Hydrogen associated with it are 2°H .

_________________________

Tertiary Carbons / Hydrogen () -

➡️ When Carbon atom is linked with 3 other carbon atoms by single bond then they r called Tertiary Carbons 3°C

&

Hydrogen associated with it are 3°H .

_________________________
