Draw AB such that PQ || AB || RS

Solution

PQ || AB, and XM is a transversal

∠PXM + ∠XMA = 180° [ Co-interior Angle ]

50° + ∠XMA = 180°

∠XMA = 180° - 50°

∠XMA = 130°

AB || RS and MY is a transversal

∠AMY = ∠MYS = 120° [Alternate Interior Angles]

According to figure,

 \bf ∠XMY = ∠XMA + ∠AMY

 \bf \implies x - 20 \degree = 130\degree + 120\degree

 \bf \implies x - 20 \degree =250 \degree
