 \huge \green{hey}

I have a question.

Can an object have displacement without any force acting on it?

Think about it and answer the question.

Heya mate, Here is ur answer

The statements answer is " Yes " .

Yes, it is possible that even when no force is applied, a body can move.

This can be in the case when the velocity of the body is constant.

When Velocity is constant, acceleration will be zero.Why?

a=v-u/t

Since v-u=0 (as velocity is constant), so acceleration will be 0.

Now the body has velocity that is it is moving.

But, Force applied is 0 as acceleration is 0 .

F=ma

F=m×0

F=0

But still body is in motion.

This justifies that a body can move even when No force is applied.

Law of inertia also states that " A body remains in its position of rest or motion until an external force is applied " .

If we see this law in simple words it says," When external force is not applied, an object will keep moving."

Hope it satisfies you :)

Warm regards
