\huge \sf  \color{Purple}{\underline{\underline{Answer }}} :

Distance of an observer from the Cliff ,

\large \sf \color{red}{d \ = \ 306m}

 \huge \sf \color{purple}{\underline{\underline{Solution }}} :

Here,

\bigstar Velocity of sound in air, v = 304 m/s

\bigstar Time of echo, t = 1.8 s

\large \color{green}{\boxed{\sf d = \frac{vt}{2}}} \\ \\ \implies d = \frac{340×1.8}{2} \\ \\   \implies d = 306 m

Distance from of the observed from the Cliff is 306 m .
