Given:-

  • ∠ABC = 90°
  • ∠DCB = 90°
  • AB = 6 cm
  • DC = 8 cm

To Find:-

Area of ΔABC ÷ Area of ΔBCD

Formula Used:- Area of triangle = 1/2 × Base × Height

Solution:-

→ Area of ∆ABC = 1/2 × (AB × BC)

→ 1/2 × (6 × BC)

Similarly,

→ Area of ∆DCB= 1/2 × (8 × BC)

Now,

→ (Area of ∆ABC) ÷ (Area of ∆DCB) = {1/2 × (6 × BC) ÷ 1/2 × (8 × BC)}

→ (6 × BC) ÷ (8 × BC) = \frac{6}{8}

Answer:- \frac{6}{8}

Hope it helps you army !
