Properties of covalent bonds are :-

  • Insoluble they don't dissolve in water, instead they me separate layer on the water surface.

  • Low melting and boiling point because they have weak intermolecular force.

  • Poor conductor of electricity because electrons are shared between atoms and no change particles are formed.

Answer:

Covalent compounds have bonds where electrons are shared between atoms. Due to the sharing of electrons, they exhibit characteristic physical properties that include lower melting points and electrical conductivity compared to ionic compounds.

Hope it's help you
